Three summits, one goal: building Europe’s digital future💡
Women represent just 17% of ICT students in the EU, highlighting the urgent need for early intervention. (Eurostat 2018).
The global digital economy is projected to create 150 million new tech jobs by 2025 (WEF), and we must ensure women are equally represented in this growth.
Gender disparity remains a critical issue in tech, with only 19% of ICT specialists in Europe being women (Eurostat 2023).
Held at Les Ateliers des Tanneurs , Brussels, these summits will gather policymakers, industry leaders, educators, and diversity advocates to empower women in digital careers and tackle the skills gap in areas like AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and quantum technologies.
12th Nov - European Digital Skills Awards 2025
13th Nov - Advanced Digital Skills Summit | Launch of the ADS State-of-Play report and expert panels on the demand for high-level digital skills
14th Nov - Connecting Women In Digital Summit | Launch of the Women in Digital Index 2025
Cloud-Edge-IoT, dataspaces, Quantum & Post-Quantum Cryptography | three days of transatlantic collaboration on digital standards🤝
Europe’s most ambitious innovators, this is your moment! The O-CEI Horizon project is opening its 1st Open Call for Upscaling Projects, inviting startups and SMEs to push the boundaries of Cloud-Edge-IoT in energy, mobility, agriculture, and smart cities.
Oliver Bringer Head of Unit, International Affairs and Policy Outreach from the European Commission highlighted the need for agility In the EU’s approach “The objective is to make the standardisation system European more agile”.
Across the three days, discussions spanned Cloud-Edge-IoT, Dataspaces, and quantum and Post-Quantum Cryptography, identifying opportunities for joint governance frameworks, trusted data flows, and quantum security cooperation.

📊 Data is the missing link in STEM equality: make informed decisions backed by evidence
Despite hundreds of initiatives worldwide, the gender gap in STEM remains unchanged. The problem isn’t a lack of activity, it’s the fragmented data collection and lack of measurement.
At the “From gaps to guidance: how measuring the unmeasured transforms STEM equity” webinar with our managing consultant Brendan Rowan and Eva DĂaz discussed how intelligence tools like STEAM Atlas are redefining the path to equality. By mapping over 800 initiatives and focusing on measurable results, this tool moves beyond “pink washing”: from STEM promotion programmes and creating a predictive model and data-driven solutions to close the gap.
The goal: to show the path, what truly works, spotlight role models who inspire and build a lasting culture of inclusion.

⚛️ Start measuring impact: Quantum & AI for business growth
Our CEO, Tanya Suarez, joined industry leaders at The City Quantum and AI Summit on 8th October, expertly hosted by Karina Robinson. The event brought together top speakers, panellists, and innovators to explore the future of AI and quantum technologies. Discussions underscored that for meaningful adoption of quantum technologies, four conditions must align: convergence, demonstrability, governance, and compatibility with legacy systems.
Speakers proposed viewing AI through three essential lenses:
Technology (infrastructure and capability),
Business (process and decision-making),
Experience (human and client interaction).
This holistic approach is vital to translate innovation into tangible outcomes. It’s needed an urgent shift in perspective, from assessing risk to evaluating impact, capturing both opportunity and risk.
A highlight from Multiverse Computing illustrated real progress: Compactify runs GenAI models in half the time and with 50% less energy consumption, while Deepseek demonstrates the power of transparent, adaptable models.
Together, these insights signal a clear message: quantum and AI aren’t parallel paths, they are converging forces shaping the next era of intelligence.
