EU-Canda digital partnership week: shaping the future of ICT Standards
Three days of transatlantic collaboration
The EU-Canada Digital Partnership Week on ICT Standardisation kicks off 14 October 2025, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and technical experts to shape the global digital landscape.
Across three days of high-level workshops, participants will focus on Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI), Dataspaces, and Quantum Technologies, advancing interoperability, security, and innovation across the Atlantic.
Day 1: Cloud-Edge-IoT (14 Oct)
CEI standardisation underpins digital innovation across mobility, energy, and manufacturing. The session will explore cross-sectoral alignment to promote industrial competitiveness and trade. Experts from the European Commission, ETSI, and Canadian Digital Governance Council will showcase best practices and large-scale pilot initiatives driving interoperability from cloud to edge.
Day 2: Dataspaces (15 Oct)
Trusted data channels, interoperability, and secure data flows are at the heart of EU and Canadian priorities. With initiatives like NGI and IDSA, the workshop will chart pathways for Common European Data Spaces to function seamlessly across borders.
Day 3: Quantum Technologies & Post-Quantum Cryptography (16 Oct)
Quantum technologies are a shared strategic priority. The EU and Canada will explore quantum computing, sensing, and communication, with a focus on post-quantum security. Industry leaders will discuss how standards for quantum and PQC can safeguard tomorrow’s digital ecosystem.
Why attend:
Gain insights from top transatlantic experts on CEI, dataspace interoperability, and quantum security.
Explore real-world implementation strategies and cross-border collaboration opportunities.
Be part of shaping a harmonised, resilient, human-centric digital ecosystem.
